Miss Katelyn Murphy started dancing at the age of 15 under Miss Tanya Maxfield (Owner and Artistic Director of Miss Tanya’s School of Dance) and Karen Brown (former member of the Boston Ballet). She is trained in Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Musical Theater and Hip Hop. Miss Katelyn competed for 3 years on the Senior and Hip Hop Team at Miss Tanya’s School of Dance and won many prestigious awards. She attended Brian Friedmans summer intensive in New York City, Monsters of Hip Hop and many other dance workshops to learn new chorography to teach to her students. Miss Katelyn has completed two years of Dance Masters of America teacher training school at the University of Buffalo in New York. Her vibrant energy is an inspiration to all of her students. |
